Super Duper Standard Poodles
LUCILLE OFA33981G24F
Lucille is a dream. She is thoughtful, not a big barker, and does not want to be in trouble, ever. Consequently, she has been incredibly easy to train, and by my side like a shadow. She is extremely feminine, even tho she is so big, a girly girl! She is huge already – 29” plus and weighs 80 pounds now. She is not quite 3, and I think she is close to full height, and so we have bred her for August puppies, and they are here!!!!!! She comes from tested giant poodle parents from the Colorado Red Dog line, and her parents are Rosy and Jake. Please go and check out these beautiful dogs, and super breeding program. I am sure her babies will make them proud! I am so honored to have one of their dogs. She has had her hips and elbows evaluated and has passed all OFA criterias. And, all of her genetic testing came back clear!
Her color is Apricot. It is the rarest poodle color, and so so pretty. A recessive gene causes this unique color, which appears light red, almost bordering on cream. Researchers believe that apricot poodles was the last color to be developed due to certain characteristics. Her puppies are incredible, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
AND THE BIGGEST BESTEST NEWS
♥️Lucille’s a Mama♥️
We are so excited about this litter! We have waited so long for her to grow up and mature. Lucille is the best mom. When she was a baby herself and saw her first litter of Francie’s pups, she only wanted to clean and cuddle them.(See the pic on her page!) She has the nature for being a mama! She is due the middle of August, and I am thinking she’ll have plenty and they will be big ones! She is from the giant line of Colorado Red Dogs, and her parents are Rosy and Jake. Gary is a very large Royal, and comes from a small show home. The puppies will be ready to go mid October. We can’t wait! So darn cute….. This is a very nice litter! See them on the Puppies!Puppies! page.
Also, go check out the pics of Gary and Lucille as puppies themselves on their individual pages.
